The Simple Life

Little Miss Direction and I were laying in bed (as she was giving me a massage........oh ya! I have an awesome child!) and she had told me about this little girl in her class a couple of weeks ago that lies all the time and Little Miss Direction just doesn't understand why this girl lies. So, I explained to her that sometimes kids lie (or even adults for that matter) to make other kids like them. They think that if they don't lie about all the cool things they have that people won't like them. So my advice to her was to nicely ask the girl (unfortunately Little Miss Direction has acquired my attitude which is not always good), why she lies all the time and that people would probably like her a lot more if she didn't lie. People would like her for who she is if she was just herself. So last night Little Miss Direction said that she nicely asked the girl why she lies and she said the girl was all mean like and said "i don't lie!" Little Miss Direction said that she is not going to be her friend anymore if she lies 6 more times because she's really tired of her lying! Remember when we just had minor problems like that and life just seemed so hard? Then we grow up and we realize that we had it so great as a child!
